Twelve local families enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday this year thanks to the generosity of Iberia Parish businesses, residents, and the United Way of Iberia.  Following a call for food donations, businesses and UWI spent Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, November 22-23, assembling food baskets at the United Way of Iberia’s office. Businesses and residents of the Iberia Parish community contributed items for the holiday celebration. “We’d like to extend our gratitude to the entire community for its overwhelming support of this drive,” said Executive Director Corleen Rouly.  “The recipient families were most appreciative and we were delighted to help them enjoy the holiday.”

 The UWI wishes to acknowledge the participation of the following businesses and individuals: Cargill Deicing Technology, Regions Bank, Schat Harding, YABTBAB Outreach Ministries, The Family Resource Center, and Mike & Jennifer Armentor.
