Giving
United Way helps people overcome challenges and barriers to succeed. For
many, success means finding a job. For low income parents, it means finding
affordable child care for their kids. For under-educated adults, it means
learning how to read and write. For the disabled, it’s about participating
fully in community life. For seniors, it means getting the support they need
to live healthy in their own homes. For the homeless it means getting off
the street and having a good place to stay.
Your United Way contribution will change lives. Your money works to provide people with the opportunities and resources they need to move forward and build new futures in a caring community.

Place Giving
Workplace giving has long been the most recognized and one of the most
effective ways for employees to give back to their community.
Whether through direct contributions or the convenience of payroll
deductions, organizing an employee contribution campaign is one of the most
powerful ways an employer can address serious health and human services
issues right here in our community.
Organizations have the option of supporting United Way with a direct
financial donation and by implementing a dollar-for-dollar matching
contribution program.
Individual Giving
If your work place does not run a United Way Campaign, if you are
self-employed, or retired, we still need your support. Some of you may hear
from us through our Direct Mail program. There are a number of ways you can
contribute.
